Henkel Offers Solutions to Create Added Value for White Goods Sector
As the Industry and Electronics Department of Henkel; we have been providing services worldwide for many years with a wide product range including adhesive, silicone, conductive or insulating assembly chemicals needed at every point in the production of white goods, home electronics and all their electronic components. We offer solutions for all players of the sector in our country and abroad with the years of experience and fund of knowledge Henkel has, besides our large range of products including the processes of design, production and finalizing.
While ensuring the continuity of the products and services we offer to the sector during the pandemic process, we continue our work by putting human health first among our priorities.
The increase in the time we spend at home due to the pandemic has increased our expectations from white goods. As a natural result, the use of electronic components in these devices has increased even more. We have accelerated our work, which we started before the pandemic to let the white goods sector in Turkey meet with conductive adhesives, thermal pads, coatings for the insulation of electronic cards, potting applications, hot glue products and solutions, which are under the roof of our electronics department.
With the increasing significance of environmentalism; the possible changes of the agenda in the energy classes of white goods raise expectations for devices such as refrigerators, ovens, washing machines and dishwashers to be more energy efficient. During the pandemic, we have continued to share solutions to meet the needs of the market with our quick adhesives, silicones, various types of glues that are cured by temperature, reaction and time in order to increase the efficiency of the products that are completed or in manufacturing process. At this point, the only difference between our work during the pandemic and before the pandemic is that we have held our meetings, visits and technical trainings online during the pandemic.
During the pandemic, we have continued to enhance the influence area of Sonderhoff, which has been incorporated by Henkel short time ago and offers automation solutions customized for sealing, bonding and resin applications as complement products to the product range in white goods and home electronics production.
One of the most important issues we have overcome in this extremely challenging process is that we, as Henkel, have ensured the continuity of supply despite the fluctuating demands. We have ensured the continuity of production and product supply by taking all precautions, keeping human being our top priority, in our supply chain organization so that the difficult supply conditions experienced all over the world do not affect our customers. In this context, we are proud of being the first company in our sector to receive the TSI Covid-19 Safe Production Certificate for our GEBKIM factory, which is equipped with the latest technology and smart factory systems.
